Welcome to the Elementary School at Canadian Bilingual School! Our elementary school is from grades 1 to 5. The foundational skills that our students learn and develop through our JK to SK program prepare our students well for entering the next stage of their education in the elementary school. The English medium program in elementary is delivered through the Literacy Block which provides students with a rich exposure to quality literature through which language concepts in reading, writing, and speaking are taught.
At CBS, we have carefully integrated all the necessary elements for the primary students to acquire the varied realms of vital knowledge and skills. Academics empowers students to improve their communication, collaboration, creativity, innovation, critical thinking and problem solving and aid them to learn in the right way.
CBS adheres to an American core curriculum and enhances knowledge in subject areas of Maths, Science, Social Studies and Art where students have opportunities to utilize their English language skills such as reading, writing, analysing, problem-solving, etc.
At CBS, our students’ elementary school experience is completed through a strong technology and physical education program, as well as opportunities for students to be involved in many extra-curricular activities.
